The following books were awarded the California Young Readers’ Medal.  Students agree to read all books in a category and then vote for their favorite books.  Younger readers must have all three books in their category read to them.  This was the first year that we held a CA Young Readers’ Medal book club at my school.  It was a tremendous success with over 30 students participating.
